Microsoft has issued a warning to consumers regarding potential security vulnerabilities associated with their Internet Explorer 6 and above (including 11). This security flaw may allow attackers to install malware on your computer without your permission. That malware could be used to steal personal data, track online behavior, or gain control of the computer. One way this can happen is when an attacker hosts a specially crafted website that is designed to exploit this vulnerability through Internet Explorer and then convince a user to view the website.
