Online banking makes it simple to open Supplemental Savings accounts.
1. Near the top right side of the page (the options listed next to the Alliant logo), click on "Explore Products."
2. On the "Explore Products" page, select "Open Now" below the Supplemental Savings tile, then follow the prompts to name your account, add a joint owner if applicable, and fund the account. Note: You may open a Supplemental Savings account with a $0 balance and add funds later.

Yes. You can have up to 19 supplemental savings accounts.
The only difference is that a supplemental savings is an additional savings account. You can name each account based on your specific financial goals — saving up for a vacation, wedding, emergency fund, etc. — allowing you to more easily track your progress toward that goal.
