Alliant CEO On Board at National Credit Union Foundation

Alliant Credit Union President & CEO David Mooney was recently elected to the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) Board of Directors.

NCUF is the charitable arm of the credit union industry, helping to improve people’s financial lives through credit unions. With assistance from NCUF grants and programs, credit unions provide financial education, create access to affordable financial services and empower consumers to save, build assets and own homes. No stranger to charity and community involvement, Mr. Mooney serves on the Boards of:

• The Illinois Credit Union Foundation, which promotes the self-help ideals of credit unions through grants, scholarships and cooperative partnerships
• Operation HOPE, Inc., a national organization helping to make free enterprise work for everyone, by providing financial literacy programs for youth and adults…as Chairman of the Midwest Regional Board
• NADAP, a workforce development agency

Alliant Credit Union Foundation, a $4 million charitable organization promoting economic empowerment and self-sufficiency…as Chairman Mr. Mooney joined Alliant Credit Union as president and CEO in 2003, following years in executive and management positions at J.P.
