Alliant Launches New Online Vehicle Service Program for Members

07/01/2019

With the addition of a new online vehicle service program, Alliant Credit Union can now provide members with products and tools to help them save money and time both before and after they buy a vehicle.

Alliant, a leading digital credit union, together with CarAdvise, a leading vehicle repair and maintenance technology platform, have developed a co-branded CarAdvise online platform exclusively for Alliant and its more than 450,000 members nationwide.

The vehicle service program enhances Alliant's auto loan program and creates new value for members with features such as maintenance reminders, online scheduling and the ability to compare prices across more than 20,000 certified service shops nationwide. With CarAdvise’s discounted pricing and access to ASE Certified Technicians, Alliant members can save on all services and avoid paying for unnecessary work. Members can also schedule appointments, approve and pay for services, and view their service history, right from their digital devices.

This program represents Alliant’s latest effort to deliver new and innovative digital solutions to serve the evolving needs of its growing membership.

“Alliant’s members are savvy consumers who value the convenience and ease of transacting online,” said Brian Sharapata, senior manager of credit product strategy at Alliant. “Our partnership with CarAdvise is the first of its kind and will allow us to deliver savings across the ownership lifecycle, from financing to maintenance – all on digital platforms.”

Vehicle owners can register for the Alliant Vehicle Service Program online at no cost. From there, they can see upfront pricing for various services from nearby shops, schedule an appointment and approve or decline service before it’s performed. They can also receive free expert advice from ASE certified technicians and get maintenance remindersfor their specific vehicle.

“We are thrilled to partner with Alliant. Our online platform aligns well with Alliant’s digital model, and our shared values of delivering transparency, trust and savings for consumers make this a win for us and for consumers,” said Mike McSherry, director of business development at CarAdvise.
