This disparity between resourced and under-resourced communities is known as the “digital divide." Digital exclusion permeates into every aspect of life, creating educational, economic, and career disenfranchisement. As part of Alliant’s social mission, we’re taking a stand to help bridge the gap, and taking action to create digital equity for all.
From children in low-income households who are unable to complete their homework because they don’t have a computer, to isolated neighbors in rural areas struggling to make doctor appointments online due to lack of internet access, communities and individuals need our help.
